Does the center portion of your building have to extend out so far beyond your other program? Is this important for you overall massing? Does your atrium have to go all the way to the top floor? What advantages and disadvantages does this create?
Andrew the center position is inspired on my parti model and the plans are piercing through it. I have an idea for it to extend outside the plans giving it a more dominant aspect. It is the attractive element to my building, the "wao" factor. And one of the advantages is all the natural light that the building will be receiving. However, I did fix it, I agree with prof. Lia says that is to big in proportion.
But the center portion is still so large, even larger now that the sides areas are so small. Look at proportions.
