1) I think that the clarity you have in your original mass model - and which I liked very much - is not reflected yet in all your floor plans. If you try to perform here a very quick analysis similar to the one you did for other hotels back in September you may come up with some helpful conclusions.
2) You are allocating way too much space on circulation. I remember how you wanted to challenge the idea of narrow corridors but at present your circulation space is exceeding your room space! Is there another way to do it?
3) Placing several common functions on different floor levels is interesting and may have some potential advantages but it is also rather unusual. If you are doing this on purpose then make sure you are well aware of all the pros and cons.
4) An atrium can make a very nice interior space as you show in your perspective. The question is what you are getting in return for having one here? Does your atrium contribute to your design in terms of organization, circulation, illumination etc? And if yes, is this the most appropriate solution for your design?
5) Take a closer look at some of your spaces - your bathrooms on the first level for example, are huge and building space is extremely valuable to waste!
6) On the ground level, it would help to think about where the main entrance and the reception area will be located. I am also curious to see what you intend to do with the outdoor space on the same level.
7) Your diagrams and images are very neat as always.
8) A general word of caution considering the stage where you are: CAD is a great tool that allows us to explore design ideas quickly and with ease. At the same time we need to be somewhat careful to not become “trapped” into the assumption that our designs (or parts of them) are complete because of the “finished” quality of the drawings and images that we produce along the way.
As you already said, you still have a lot to do so you will need to plan your time wisely. I am always available for any clarifications you may need regarding the above.
Great work! Can't wait to see more!
